The jewellery box is made from ash with dovetailed corner joints. The lid is made from laminated construction veneer with a final layer of walnut veneer. The same walnut veneer is used for the inner shelf and the drawer bottom. The escutcheon is inlaid bog oak and the inlay around the drawer is walnut.
